Tip 9: Buy Your Retirement Handbag

September 24, 2009 By Robin Murray 3 Comments

Take the time to pick out an expensive, sustainable handbag before retirement.  Something along the lines of a high end messenger bag that has lots of pockets for organizational purposes.  This bag will come in handy when you travel as well.  Make sure to get something that has a guarantee.  I like the new messenger bag from Prada.  It’s classic, simple, and water resistant.  I recommend getting it in black.

Good idea – but if you are going to stick with black, have some type of differentiator on it – coloured ribbons, straps, or other unique look for the luggage carousel at the airport.

Agreed though it was my understanding you carry a “Murse.”

I like this idea, but I, being a man would call it a “book” bag, not a handbag.
