Retirement Yenta has always known that she is a bit of a “hands-on learner.” She likes to get involved in things and really experience them, before she really understands them fully. What’s more…this Yenta likes to write it down. Recently, dear Readers, this little Yenta was reading an article in the Wall Street Journal about how handwriting trains the brain. Apparently, kids learn by writing…as do adults. The article even suggests that writing is a good cognitive exercise for us Boomers.
