Oy veh…customer service can really blow these days! Retirement Yenta was just on the phone with United Airlines. In order to change a flight to Miami Beach, she was going to have to spend a CRAZY amount of money–much more than a new ticket. PLUS, good ol’ United’s customer service could ONLY sell her the expensive change ticket, or new refundable ticket (we all know how expensive those are, don’t we dear Readers?)…even though there was a price online MUCH CHEAPER. So, dear Readers, your dear Yenta hung up the phone, and purchased a new ticket online for a considerable savings.
The moral of this meandering story, dear Readers is this: Use the interwebs and do your research and SAVE SAVE SAVE!
