Recently, we celebrated Pesach, or as Retirement Yenta’s goy friends would call it, the Passover. It is one of your dear Yenta’s favorite holidays. This little Yenta loves spending time with family and friends, especially when surrounded by food and drink. Because our people did not have time for the leven to rise, we eat “the matzah” and while it may be yummy to some, it does a number on your this little Yenta’s innards. Retirement Yenta cannot recall any time of year that compares to the Passover in terms of Matzah Bloat! Oy, your little Yenta does not feel oh-so-little after feasting on matzah. So, Retirement Yenta has come up with her own unique way to de-bloat (and without the need for a life raft!) Schedule a colonoscopy to get rid of it. The fluid consumption required will rid your system of ever feeling such a massive swelling. Besides, dear Readers, it is good to have a regular colonoscopy when one reaches that oh-so-close-to-retirement age. So, dear Readers, Retirement Yenta leaves you with this Retirement Yenta Post-Passover Proverb: Passover is a time to ride the Matzah Boat, but this little Yenta can’t stand the Matzah BLOAT…schedule your colonoscopies and you will feel ready to float.
