Retirement Yenta is still reeling from the heat of this past week! Oy veh! Your dear Yenta recently picked up a useful tip for those hot, humid, 90+degree days. Use corn starch to soak up the schvitz! Your skin will feel baby smooth while everyone else has mascara running down their face like Tammy Faye Baker. Retirement Yenta has also learned from her Goy Boy Assistant (GBA) that corn starch is an excellent way to thicken stuff without the use of wheat (GBA is gluten intolerant) AND, it is an excellent way to breathe fire! Yep…don’t try this at home folks, but take it from your dear Yenta and her GBA…corn starch is highly flammable! Retirement Yenta recommends you stick to using your corn starches for thickening sauces and keeping the schvitz down…no need to burn down the house, well, unless you are the Talking Heads and you are singing your 1983 hit song.
