Retirement Yenta is a girly girl. Don’t laugh, dear Readers, it is absolutely true. Your dear Yenta loves to have pretty things around her, and she likes to change those pretty things pretty often. Your dear Yenta also loves to save a buck, too. With the winter holidays around the corner and Thanksgiving in the not so distant past, this little Yenta is in a major redecorating mood. RY has found the quickest (and cheapest) way to create a new look for her beloved homes is to regularly change the small things…like dish towels. You would be surprised how a little seasonal splash of color will brighten up and change the look of a place. Oranges and browns are great for the fall and Thanksgiving, blue for Chanukah and New Years, red for Valentine’s day, greens and butter yellow for the summer…the colors are endless…and they are not just for dish towels…you could have colorful cloth napkins for your Shabbos table, or colorful towels in your bathroom. It’s a quick, easy way to change the look of your homes and you won’t have time to get tired of it. Retirement Yenta says: change the look of all your homes for a little pick me up. Add color and change with simple linens and you can still save a buck.
