Tip #278: Financially Mentor a Kid

March 27, 2012 By Robin Murray Leave a Comment

There is nothing like learning by teaching, dear Readers. Retirement Yenta knows that sometimes the best way to refresh your knowledge of the financial services world is to teach someone the ins and outs. Let’s face it dear Readers, the financial world changes and changes…and sometimes those changes are slow. There are new products out there, and there are products you might have put out of your mind because it wasn’t something you needed at the time. With this in mind, your dear Yenta wants to advise you to financially mentor a kid. This could be a young kid, a teen, someone in their 20’s, or even someone in their 30’s. If your mentee doesn’t know about the market and financial services, you can show them the ropes and refresh your knowledge while you are at it!
