Things break. It happens all the time at Retirement Yenta’s house. Replacing these things can get costly…SOOOOOO, in order to save a buck, your dear Yenta has taken to getting the broken item fixed. We are talking a pair of favorite shoes having the heels replaced, or a patch job on a favorite sweater’s elbow. We are talking getting a new battery for that favorite watch. There is no use having it around if it doesn’t work…and there’s no use buying a replacement if you can get it fixed for half (or less) than the cost of replacing it! Dear Readers, keep in mind that if it is completely worn out…don’t try to repair it…replace it…there are things that are simply too far gone. Your dear Yenta is not advocating looking like a pauper. Retirement Yenta says: repair, repair, and then replace…you can save a buck and not waste.
