Retirement Yenta knows one thing, dear Readers–when Papa Yenta calls, RY becomes a 16 year old girl once again. All of that teen angst fills her head and she dreads having to talk to Papa Y. It’s a brief moment, but it appears. Once that moment has passed, this Yenta loves chattin’ it up with Papa Y. Besides, your dear Yenta recommends you not avoid that call from your mother or father. You will be setting a good example for your own kidlets (karma can be a bitch, so don’t put any bad karma out there)! RY recommends you turn that conversation with your parents onto their lives. You never know what will come of it. As a matter of fact, Retirement Yenta’s dear ol’ dad has been driving some version of Noah’s Ark for the past 20 years (he loves a Crown Vic). Recently, a phone call turned to the desire for a new car, and RY suggested a Ford Fusion because it has gotten such great reviews. And, you know what, dear Readers? Papa Yenta is now the owner of a Ford Fusion. No, there is not room for a pair of every type of animal in this car, but Papa Yenta likes the size and maneuverability of this gem of an auto.
Retirement Yenta recommends you live without regrets. Take that call from your father or mother. Heal any old wounds and get to know the hip happening lives of these people who made you!
