Tip #89: Find a Casino

January 11, 2010 By Robin Murray 1 Comment

Retirement Yenta recently returned from her favorite local casino, Foxwoods (in the wilds of CT). Yes, she knows that there’s a stereotype there…old people and slot machines have a certain affinity for one another. BUT, your dear Yenta is not old, and therefore, she shuns the slots and the stereotype. Give her a good game of black jack or craps, and she’s good to go. Casinos offer large (and CHEAP) rooms, good (and CHEAP) food, shows, spas, and in Vegas, they offer sunshine, too. You know the Yenta loves a good deal. She has found that the casino can be a great getaway (and CHEAP). Your dear Yenta says: You don’t have to spend a penny in the slots, heck you don’t even have to gamble, the casino offers such a variety of things to do. Go, eat, luxuriate.
